Τουλάχιστον 35 πρόσφυγες πνίγηκαν στα νερά του Ατλαντικού ωκεανού σήμερα, σε λέμβο που αναχώρησε από το Αγκαντίρ του Μαρόκο και κατευθυνόταν προς το ισπανικό νησί Γκραν Κανάρια.
Στην βάρκα επέβαιναν 59 άνθρωποι, σύμφωνα με τις ΜΚΟ Alarm Phone και Walking Borders.

Πηγή της ισπανικής ναυτικής υπηρεσίας διάσωσης που επικαλείται το Reuters, αναφέρει ότι μεταξύ των θυμάτων είναι και ένα παιδί, ενώ μόλις οι 24 άνθρωποι διασώθηκαν από τη βυθισμένη λέμβο.
